Camp Wapiyapi 2012
Nathan Mohr, here. I volunteer to build and maintain the Wapiyapi website, including the online camp application process that we have used for the past couple of years. Last spring I put together a similar process for Sky High Hope Camp (operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver).
As I worked on both of these sites, it became clear that what this great community really needed was a website where parents and volunteers could have standing accounts that they could use to apply to attend any of these camps, year after year, without re-entering all of their information. The website could also have tools for the camp administrators to manage the applications, including the handling of assignments of volunteers to roles, companions to campers, volunteers and campers to teams, etc...
Over the past year, I've been building that website. It's called SummerCampBreeze.com, and it is now open for you to create your free account, build your profile, and apply to attend Camp Wapiyapi 2012.
I hope this new site makes the process of applying to camp better for everyone involved.
